1 ½ lb Boneless
pork (pork butt), cut into 1” cubes
1 teaspoon Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoon Cornstarch
1 Egg
½ cup Flour (All Purpose)
1 Red pepper
1 Yellow pepper
½ Onion
200g Crushed Pineapples

1 cup Water
½ cup White vinegar
½ cup Tomato sauce
¼ cup Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
1 Lemon

Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, marinate pork with sugar, salt, cornstarch,
and egg. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Cut red pepper, yellow pepper, and onions into pieces.
Boil shortly and drain. Set aside.
3. Put flour in a medium bowl. Coat pork with flour. Make
sure to coat all sides.
4. Heat 2 cups of oil (or enough to cover pork) in medium-high
heat. Deep fry until its colour starts to turn golden. Set
aside.
5. In a skillet or wok, mix water, vinegar, tomato sauce,
lemon, sugar and salt. Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes
or until thicken. Add boiled vegetables, fried pork, and pineapples.
Mix thoroughly and ready to serve.
Variations:
1. You can replace boneless pork with pork spareribs, chicken,
or shelled prawns.
2. If making the sauce is a hassle for you, there are ready
made sweet and sour sauce available.
