1 ½ lb Pork
spareribs, cut into 1” pieces
1 teaspoon Sugar
½ teaspoon Salt
2 Tablespoon Cornstarch
1 Egg
½ cup Flour (All Purpose)

1 Tablespoon Oil
1 Tablespoon Minced garlic
2 Tablespoon Honey
¼ cup Water
1 pinch Salt

Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, marinate spareribs with sugar, salt,
cornstarch, and egg. Marinade for at least 30 minutes.
2. Put flour in a medium bowl. Coat spareribs with flour.
Make sure to coat all sides.
3. Heat 2 cups of oil (or enough to cover spareribs) in medium-high
heat. Deep fry until its colour starts to turn golden. Set
aside.
4. In a skillet or wok, heat oil, add minced garlic, cook
for 1 minute, keep stirring. Stir in honey, cook for 30 seconds,
add water, cook until sauce starts to thicken.
5. Add cooked spareribs, mix with sauce until evenly coated.
Serve hot.
